The Scuola Normale Superiore, together with the federated Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, was selected by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (Miur) as one of the Italian sites that should have been visited by the group of experts in economics and higher education of HEInnovate, a joint project of the European Commission and the OECD aimed at providing higher education institutions with the opportunity to explore their innovative potential in relation to entrepreneurship.

On December 6th 2018 the delegation of HEInnovate, led by the secretary of the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development), was in Pisa to gather information on the existing activities and on the strategies envisaged in terms of teaching and research of the two institutions, as well as to provide suggestions and plan the best practices to be adopted.

At the end of the study visit the two Institutes presented a report on their respective activities and on the strategies implemented also as a Federation.
