
Some intensive working sessions mark an important moment for EELISA as they reinforce the Alliance’s role within the European higher education ecosystem.



Two different teams of astronomers have detected oxygen in the most distant known galaxy, JADES-GS-z14-0. The discovery, reported in two separate studies, was made possible thanks to the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), in which the European Southern Observatory (ESO) is a partner.


Researchers from Scuola Normale Superiore and the University of Ljubljana, in collaboration with international experts, have made a groundbreaking discovery about the evolution of cosmic dust properties in galaxies in the early Universe, using data from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
