GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS RETURNING TO COLLEGES
(the guidelines are contained in the Director's Decree n.0011648 of 15/07/2020, attachment n.14)

1. A medical certificate is required to return to and stay at the Scuola’s colleges, certifying the student’s state of health and the absence of Covid-19 symptoms.

The certificate must be sent in advance by e-mail to area.servizi@sns.it (Pisa students) and to eventiculturali.firenze@sns.it (Florence students) and the original copy must be delivered on arrival in a sealed envelope, to the porter's lodge of the college of appurtenance, addressing it to the Servizio Ristorazione, Collegi e Ospitalità (the Catering, Colleges and Hospitality Service) for Pisa students and to the Servizio Eventi e gestione del Polo (Events Service and management of the Polo) for Florence students. Alternatively, a recent serological test (testing negative to Covid-19) may be submitted.

The student must submit a request stating the precise date of arrival in Pisa or Florence and, if possible, the date of departure. The departure date may also be stated during their period of stay at the College.

During their stay at their respective Colleges students must comply with the provisions contained in the Regulations of conduct.

The canteen service in Pisa is partially operational and reserved solely for undergraduate students staying at the colleges and in other funded accommodation, starting from June 3. In order to use the service it is necessary to comply with the instructions provided by the Area Servizi, especially those relating to canteen access slots.

2. The same instructions as in the previous section apply. Any critical issues relating to particular situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and must be brought to the attention of the Servizio Ristorazione, Collegi e Ospitalità (Pisa students) or of the Servizio Eventi e gestione del Polo (Florence students) and to the Gruppo Emergenza Coronavirus (Coronavirus Emergency Group) by writing to: area.servizi@sns.it, eventiculturali.firenze@sns.it and emergenza.coronavirus@sns.it

3. The same instructions as in the previous section apply. Any critical issues related to particular situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and must be brought to the attention of the Servizio Ristorazione, Collegi e Ospitalità (Pisa students) or of the Servizio Eventi e gestione del Polo (Florence students) and to the Gruppo Emergenza Coronavirus (Coronavirus Emergency Group) by writing to: area.servizi@sns.it, eventiculturali.firenze@sns.it and emergenza.coronavirus@sns.it

4. You will be able to access your college wearing a mask and for the time strictly necessary to collect your personal belongings.

At the entrance, you will have to sanitize your hands, using the hydroalcoholic gel available, and measure your temperature with the thermo scanner at the porter's lodge. Any further instructions will be given to you by the porter on arrival.

Please note: BEFORE ENTERING THE COLLEGE, YOU MUST WAIT FOR A WRITTEN CONFIRMATION from the Servizio Ristorazione Collegi e Ospitalità (Pisa students) or from the Servizi Eventi e gestione del Polo (Florence students).

The details may be requested either by email or by filling in a Google form which will be made available to all the resident students by the Servizio Ristorazione, Collegi e Ospitalità and the Servizi Eventi e gestione del Polo.

5. Overnight stays are allowed in exceptional circumstances, for one night only. Any request for longer overnight stays will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, submitting the specific situation to the Coronavirus Emergency Group.

To access the college and stay overnight, a medical certificate is required to certify the student’s state of health and the absence of Covid-19 symptoms. The certificate must be sent in advance by e-mail to area.servizi@sns.it (Pisa students) and to eventiculturali.firenze@sns.it (Florence students) and the original copy must be delivered on arrival in a sealed envelope, to the porter's lodge of the college of appurtenance, addressing it to the Servizio Ristorazione, Collegi e Ospitalità (the Catering, Colleges and Hospitality Service) by Pisa students and to the Servizio Eventi e gestione del Polo (Events Service and management of the Polo) by Florence students. Alternatively, a recent serological test (testing negative to Covid-19) may be submitted.

During your stay you must comply with the provisions contained in the Regulations of conduct for residing at your College.

6. If you leave the college for one or more nights and intend to return you must inform the Director:  it will not be possible to return to the college before having received the authorization from the Director himself. In order to return to the college after a period of absence (for personal, family, etc. reasons), a medical certificate is required to certify the student’s state of health and the absence of symptoms from Covid-19. The certificate must be sent in advance by e-mail to area.servizi@sns.it (Pisa students) and to eventiculturali.firenze@sns.it (Florence students) and the original copy must be delivered on arrival in a sealed envelope, to the porter's lodge of the college of appurtenance, addressing it to the Servizio Ristorazione, Collegi e Ospitalità (the Catering, Colleges and Hospitality Service) by Pisa students and to the Servizio Eventi e gestione del Polo (Events Service and management of the Polo) by Florence students. Alternatively, a recent serological test (testing negative to Covid-19) may be submitted.

At the time of departure, the return date must be communicated to the porter.

If you do not yet know when you are planning to return you must write to area.servizi@sns.it (Pisa students) or eventiculturali.firenze@sns.it (Florence students ) as soon as you know, at least a few days before you return.
