From 18 December until 15 January, Ph.D students enrolled in the first year of the three-year courses or in the second year of the four-year courses of the Scuola Normale can apply for the Science & Management MBA programme.

Arising from the collaboration with the Collège des Ingénieurs – Italia, the Science & Management MBA Programme (sMBA) is designed to enable Science,Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) students to acquire managerial skills that will enhance their potential for their future careers.

The Collège des Ingénieurs has been operating for several years in France and Germany, and, since 2009, also in Italy, allowing young graduates in science and technology to pursue an international and unique MBA Programme. The sMBA Programme is unique in many ways: a truly international Programme, with classes and workshops taking place in Turin, Paris and Munich; the development of soft skills, a key part of the Programme; the focus on innovation, and in particular the participation of the students in the Innovation 4 Change Programme in collaboration with CERN.

The programme, which is completely free of charge for students of the Scuola Normale, involves 6 weeks of workshops distributed over the remaining 3 years of the Ph.D course and an additional 9 weeks of courses and 26 weeks of company work placement upon conclusion of the  Ph.D course at the Scuola.
